Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 6 June 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Arcalix subscriptions and one-time services, and sets out your statutory rights. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Summary
- You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable.
- Cryptocurrency payments are final and cannot be refunded or charged back.
- If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right to cancel — which you may agree to waive in order to get immediate access (see section 4).
2. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account billing settings. When you cancel, the subscription stops renewing and your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused part of a period unless required by law.
3. Subscriptions are non-refundable
Except where required by law or expressly stated in this policy, subscription fees (monthly or yearly) are non-refundable, including for periods during which you did not use the Service. This reflects that you retain access for the full period you paid for.
4. Your 14-day right & waiver
If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 normally give you 14 days to cancel a distance contract for a refund. However, for digital services that are supplied immediately, you can ask us to begin straight away and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed, and that for a service performed over your billing period you will lose the right once it is complete.
At checkout we ask you to confirm that you want immediate access and that you understand you waive the 14-day cancellation right to the extent the service is provided. We record this confirmation. If you do not provide it where it is required, we cannot begin the service immediately.
This section does not affect your other statutory rights — for example, your right to a remedy if a digital service is faulty or not as described.
5. Card payments
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as the merchant of record. Where a refund is due (for example a billing error or a statutory entitlement), it is issued back to your original payment method through that provider, and the provider's own buyer terms also apply. Please contact us first and we will arrange it.
6. Cryptocurrency payments
Cryptocurrency payments are processed through our crypto gateway and are final and irreversible. Because crypto transactions cannot be reversed or charged back, we are unable to refund them, and no payment method is stored for automatic renewal. If a renewal is not paid before your current period ends, your subscription simply lapses with no further charge; you can renew manually at any time.
7. One-time services
One-time, manually fulfilled services (such as EV Code Signing and Game Launchers) are non-refundable once fulfilment has begun — for example once work has started, a certificate has been issued, or a deliverable has been provided — except where required by law or where we have failed to provide the service.
8. Billing errors & requests
If you think you have been charged in error, or you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact support@arcalix.uk within a reasonable time with your account email and the transaction details. We will investigate and put right anything that is genuinely wrong.
9. Business vs consumer
Statutory cancellation and consumer-protection rights generally apply only to consumers (individuals acting outside their trade, business or profession). Most Arcalix customers are businesses, to whom those particular rights do not apply; the commercial terms in this policy and the Terms of Service govern instead.
